The all new A/W 2019 Goodwin Smith footwear range

As Brexit rages on like a bad rash, the people of Britain are lost. They're looking for something definitive, something that makes them feel secure.

Benjamin Franklin - one of the Founding Fathers of America - said in life there are three certainties...death, taxes and that any Manchester-based luxury footwear company established in 1928 will always deliver.

And if history has taught us anything, white men in power in America are to be trusted.

Today Goodwin Smith releases around 15 of their AW19 range of 45 new designs.

A soft release for all our dedicated GS Club members you might call it.

'We've reintroduced some of our bestsellers with a twist like the Sherwood and the Linton. We've also combined the two to produce the Linwood - a stunning mix of premium buff calfskin leather, tweed and a comfortable wedge sole unit. Eye-catching textile patterns such as herringbone and hounds tooth are also making an appearance.'

He added: 'We're excited to really take the range to the next level for this autumn/winter with increased levels of hand finishing and the use of more imported feature leather. Oily pull up and brush off leathers give a rich, warm and unique finish...perfect for winter footwear.'
